Handlung
Die alternde Assassine Hornclaw hat schon alles gesehen, doch hätte sie nie erwartet, einmal die Mentorin eines rücksichtslosen Neulings wie Bullfight zu werden. Während ihre ungewöhnliche Bindung stärker wird, bilden sich Risse in der Unterwelt, durch die sie gemeinsam navigieren. Als Hornclaw entdeckt, dass jemand ihren Tod will, wird sie in ein tödliches Täuschungsspiel hineingezogen. Da die Feinde immer näher kommen und Vertrauen Mangelware ist, bedeutet Überleben, scharfsinnig zu bleiben – sowohl mit der Klinge als auch mit dem Verstand.
