Mit der Hilfe von mehr als 10.000 engagierten Zappa-Fans ist dies das lang erwartete, endgültige Dokumentarprojekt von Alex Winter, das das Leben und die Karriere des rätselhaften, bahnbrechenden Rockstars Frank Zappa dokumentiert. Alex verwendet in diesem Film auch Tausende von Stunden sorgfältig digitalisierter Videos, Fotos, Audiodateien, Texte und alles dazwischen aus Zappas privaten Archiven. Diese Chroniken wurden bisher noch nie einem öffentlichen Publikum zugänglich gemacht.
