Handlung
Vardas autobiografische Erzählung beginnt mit akustischen und haptisch-materiellen Erinnerungsspuren: die Möbel im Schlafzimmer der Eltern, das Quietschen der Schranktür, das handbetriebene Grammophon auf dem die Mutter manchmal Schuberts Unvollendete hörte. Die Regisseurin versucht ein Re-enactment, in dem sie zur unvollendeten Symphonie das Quietschen eines Scharniers montiert: eine Tonmontage aus klassischer Musik und musique concrète. Dieses Arrangement ist ein Vorspiel innerhalb der Titelsequenz, die die Erinnerungsspuren aus der Kindheit in eine Installation transformieren: ein Bettgestell als Perspektivrahmen am Strand.
