Buffalo Bill macht aus seiner Legende Geld: Er beschäftigt eine Gruppe talentierter Revolverhelden und Reiter in einer Jahrmarktshow und erzählt darin seine eigene, stark überzeichnete Geschichte. Als die Company eine weitere lebende Legende, nämlich Bills Erzfeind Häuptling Sitting Bull engagiert, der in der Show als Opfer auftreten soll, erweisen sich Buffalo Bills Erzählungen plötzlich als Lügen: Es zeigt sich, dass Sitting Bull noch nicht fertig ist mit Bill.
