Handlung
In 'Poison' erzählt Regisseur Todd Haynes drei Episoden, die die Themen Liebe, Sexualität und Gewalt variieren: 'Hero' erzählt die Geschichte des siebenjährigen Vatermörders Richie Bacon, der nach der Tat, so seine Mutter Felicia Beacon (Edith Meeks), wie ein Engel durchs Fenster davonflog. In 'Horror' gelingt es dem Wissenschaftler Dr. Graves (Larry Maxwell), den Sexualtrieb in eine Flüssigkeit zu destillieren. Nach dem versehentlichen Genuss der Flüssigkeit wird er zum leprösen, mordenden Monster. Im Mittelpunkt von 'Homo' steht die Gefängnisromanze des Diebes John Broom (Scott Renderer) mit dem Gewalttäter Jack Bolton (James Lyons), der schließlich bei einem Ausbruchversuch stirbt. Als Bonus ist auf der DVD der Kurzfilm 'Dottie Gets Spanked' enthalten.
