Trama
Sieben Jahre nach der Monsterapokalypse lebt Joel Dawson zusammen mit dem Rest der Menschheit im Untergrund. Riesige Kreaturen haben die Kontrolle über das Land übernommen. Nachdem Joel sich über Funk wieder mit seiner Highschool-Freundin Aimee verbunden hat, die jetzt 80 Meilen entfernt in einer Küstenkolonie lebt, verliebt er sich wieder in sie. Joel erkennt, dass es im Untergrund nichts mehr für ihn gibt und entscheidet sich gegen jede Logik, sich trotz aller gefährlichen Monster die ihm im Weg stehen, nach Aimee zu suchen.
