Handlung
Lucas Nickle ist neu in der Stadt, die Jungs der Nachbarschaft setzen ihm mit ihren Hänseleien schwer zu. Also lässt er seinen Frust an den im Garten lebenden Ameisen aus. Doch die setzen sich zur Wehr, träufeln dem Zehnjährigen einen Zaubertrank ein, der ihn auf ihre Größe schrumpfen lässt. Im Ameisenreich wird er vor Gericht gestellt - mit folgendem Urteilsspruch: Lucas muss so lange in der Ameisenkolonie arbeiten, bis er gelernt hat sich in die Gemeinschaft einzufügen. Erst dann soll er seine Freiheit zurückbekommen.
