Sinopsis
Nick Casey (James Coburn), apodado como “La bala de Baltimore”, es un veterano buscavidas del billar que recorre las salas en busca de sus presas. Casey entrena al joven Billie Joe Robbins (Bruce Boxleitner) y ambos planean enfrentarse al legendario apostador "El Diacono" (Omar Sharif), que solo juega si hay al menos 5.000 dólares sobre la mesa.
