Sinopsis
Después de que su marido la abandonara, una mujer viaja a Londres para el funeral de una estrella del pop, Victor Fox, a quien ella adoraba. Allí, ella conoce al amante de su ídolo y le convence para que se vaya a Chicago con ella para descubrir quien ha asesinado al famoso cantante de pop. P.J. Hogan ("La boda de Muriel", "La boda de mi mejor amigo") dirigió esta comedia criminal, que escribió junto a su esposa, Jocelyn Moorhouse, realizadora de "Donde reside el amor". La cinta fue filmada entre 1999 y 2000 en Chicago y Reino Unido. A pesar de contar con actores de la talla de Kathy Bates, Rupert Everett, Lynn Redgrave, Dan Aykroyd o Jonathan Pryce, su distribuidora no la lanzó hasta el 2003 y directamente en DVD.
