Sinopsis
En 1867 empieza la construcción del ferrocarril en el estado de Missouri. Los agentes de la compañía constructora presionan con amenazas y engaños a los propietarios de las tierras por donde pasará el tren para que las vendan a precios irrisorios. Sin embargo, estas presiones se estrellan contra la resistencia de una mujer que vive con sus dos hijos, Jesse y Frank James.
