Sinopsis
Chewbacca y Han Solo viajan a Kashyyyk, el planeta natal de Chewie, para celebrar el Life Day (una especie de navidad wookie). Pero Darth Vader, convertido en una especie de Scrooge intergaláctico, ha decidido capturarlos. El especial continuaba con números musicales, largos diálogos en lenguaje wookie, así como un segmento de animación. Oscuro especial para televisión basado en el universo Star Wars. Contó con los mismos actores de las películas, si bien George Lucas reniega de él y, tras su primera y única emisión en 1978, censuró su repetición para siempre.
