Synopsis
En plusieurs tableaux délirants, le cinéaste Mel Brooks revisite l’Histoire du monde à sa façon toute personnelle. On voyage d’abord dans l’aube de l’humanité, avant d’arriver à l’âge de pierre, en passant par la Cène. C’est ensuite Torquemada et l’Inquisition qui sont mises en boîte. Un spectaculaire bond en avant nous amène un peu plus tard, en pleine Révolution française…
