Synopsis
En 1962, alors que la crainte d’une agression atomique cubaine atteint son paroxysme, Calvin Webber, savant génial mais paranoïaque, et son épouse modèle, Helen, sont surpris par une explosion qu’ils prennent pour LA déflagration atomique tant redoutée. Immédiatement, ils se réfugient dans leur abri antiatomique ultra‐sophistiqué, dans lequel ils vont passer la moitie de leur vie a attendre que tout danger de contamination soit écarté. Trente‐cinq ans plus tard, leur fils Adam décide de découvrir le monde et de sortir de sa prison dorée.
