Synopsis
Après le krach de Wall Street en 1929, un jeune homme d’affaires désespéré s’apprête à se suicider. Il écrit un mot à sa femme et prend un pistolet, mais remarque une enveloppe sur son bureau. En la lisant, on est transporté pendant la Première Guerre mondiale, où il rencontre Mary Lane.
