Synopsis
A San Francisco, une veuve immigrée accueille la nouvelle année avec une certaine tristesse : elle a maintenant soixante-deux ans, elle veut faire un voyage en Chine pour rendre un dernier hommage à ses ancêtres, une voyante lui a dit que c'était l'année où elle mourrait et une de ses filles, Géraldine, reste célibataire.
