Synopsis
Japon, 1944. Le professeur d'allemand Uchida, très estimé de ses élèves, tire sa révérence en annonçant qu'il vivra désormais de ses écrits. Mais sa maison est détruite par des bombardements et il doit s'installer dans une cabane avec sa femme. Certains de ses élèves décident alors d'organiser annuellement un repas de célébration de leur Maître, qu'ils intitulent Maada Kai…
