Synopsis
Jeune divorcée vivant à San Francisco, Gloria Mundy mène une existence tranquille, jusqu'au jour où elle rencontre une série d'étranges évènements. Suivie par divers individus peu rassurants, elle se croit d'abord menacée de mort... Mais avec l'aide du séduisant agent fédéral Tony Carlson, elle va petit à petit découvrir qu'elle est malgré elle mêlée à une conspiration d'assassinat contre le Pape. Une course contre la montre débute pour eux afin de déjouer ce terrible complot...
