Synopsis
L'homme d'affaires David Shelby réunit un parterre d'invités à l'inauguration d'une station de sport d’hiver. Le photographe Nick Thorne, opposé au projet, rappelle à Shelby les risques d'avalanches provoqués par la coupe d'arbres peu avant que sa prédiction ne se réalise. Le crash d'un avion dans une montagne entraîne une coulée de neige qui ne laisse qu'une poignée de rescapés parmi les vacanciers, pris au piège dans les décombres.
