Ayah Bukan Pahlawan (2026)

This reality is put to the test when a figure of authority—represented in the film by the character of the Father—acts to eliminate individuals who are not part of his “narrow space.” This film questions society’s awareness of their tendency to remain passive in the face of oppressive political conditions as long as they are not directly affected, preferring instead to take refuge in the illusion of safety until it is their turn to be cast aside.
