Synopsis
L'équipe de rédaction du Back Bay Mainline, un journal alternatif de Boston, se bat pour maintenir son indépendance face à un grand groupe de presse qui s'apprête à le racheter. Alors que certains journalistes refusent de vendre leur intégrité, d'autres sont prêts aux concessions. Mais que deviendra l'indépendance de la presse si les articles de fond disparaissent au profit des encarts publicitaires ?
