Synopsis
Larry Daley, le gardien de nuit survolté du musée d'histoire naturelle de New York, se rend au British Museum de Londres après avoir découvert que la tablette d'Ahkmenrah, qui permet aux personnages, créatures et oeuvres du musée de revenir à la vie, a perdu ses pouvoirs magiques. Accompagné de son fils et de ses fidèles acolytes le président Theodore Roosevelt, Attila le Hun, Jedidah le cow-boy, Octavius le romain et le pharaon Ahkmenrah, Larry s'embarque pour une nouvelle aventure. Sur place, la fine équipe fait connaissance avec Lancelot du Lac et une étonnante gardienne de nuit. Tous vont tenter de sauver les pouvoirs extraordinaires de la tablette magique avant qu'ils ne disparaissent à jamais...
