Synopsis
Hollywood 1951. Le metteur en scène David Merrill se retrouve inscrit sur la fameuse Liste Noire, qui désignait les gens soupçonnés d'être membres du Parti Communiste. Il refuse alors de baser sa défense sur d'éventuelles dénonciations.
