Synopsis
Ippik, jeune femme inuit, mène une triste existence avec son compagnon alcoolique et violent dans une petite ville de l’Arctique. Depuis longtemps déjà, elle s’est fait une raison et ne s’exprime plus. Quand elle accepte un poste au ministère de la justice, elle se trouve confrontée aux destins tragiques d’autre Inuits issus de sa communauté. Ippik constate alors que sa voix ne s’est pas complètement éteinte. Mais quel chemin va-t-elle choisir ? Celui qui mène vers la liberté ? Ou vers la mort ?
