Synopsis
Richard Haig est un professeur très respecté de Cambridge, où il enseigne la poésie romantique du 18ème siècle. Mais Richard est aussi un vrai séducteur qui multiplie les (jeunes) conquêtes. Alors, quand Kate, une de ses étudiantes, lui dit qu'elle est enceinte, ils partent s’installer en Californie pour élever leur enfant. Quelques années plus tard, la sœur de Kate, Olivia, débarque dans leur vie de manière inopinée...
