Synopsis
Le père de mademoiselle Parker a reçu une balle dans la tête et le traumatisme a provoqué chez lui un mutisme absolu. Il est dans l'incapacité de communiquer les informations qu'il tenait à transmettre à sa fille. Cette dernière poursuite Jarod qui est devenu professeur en archéologie. Mais celui-ci réussit à s'enfuir et ses recherches sur ses origines le mènent sur une île au large de l'Écosse…
