Trama
Après que le pompier de la ville de New York, Terry Lynch, ne puisse recevoir aucune indemnisation pour une blessure subie lors du sauvetage d'une jeune fille en dehors de ses fonctions, il devient suicidaire. Furieux, son frère Jimmy tente de faire intervenir le maire Tyler, mais le politicien corrompu dénonce Terry comme un ivrogne. Déterminé à obtenir justice, Jimmy lance une campagne de graffitis composée de slogans embarrassants se moquant du maire, qui captive bientôt la ville.
