Synopsis
Dans un camp de chasseurs, au pied du Kilimandjaro, l'aventurier écrivain Harry Street attend de passer de vie à trepas immobilisé par une blessure qui s'est envenimée. Aide par le whisky et sa femme, Helen, Harry tente de surmonter l'horreur qui lui inspire la crainte de mourir en rate. En attendant d'hypothétiques secours, Harry se remémore son passé.
