Synopsis
De 1984 à 1994, une conjonction de facteurs et de circonstances a changé à jamais le visage de l'animation. Au milieu des années 80, les légendaires studios d’animation de Walt Disney traversent une passe difficile. L’avenir se joue entre les nouveaux artistes avides d’innovation et les anciens qui refusent de céder le contrôle. C’est dans ce contexte que le studio enregistre quelques échecs historiques qui ont pu faire penser que l’âge d’or de l’animation était passé. Ce film retrace la façon dont Disney a retrouvé sa magie sur une période de dix ans avec une série de succès comme « La petite sirène », « La belle et le bête », « Aladdin » et « Le Roi lion ».
