Un truand qui a passé plusieurs années en prison décide à sa sortie de reprendre le droit chemin. Il se présente à une place de journaliste, mais ne sachant pas écrire il n'est pas retenu. Tout s’arrangera lorsqu'il ramènera la photo d'un forcené.
