Trama
Bill et Janet Templeton forment un couple heureux. En compagnie de leur petite fille Ivy, ils mènent une existence tranquille. Mais très vite, leur vie idyllique va tourner au cauchemar lorsque leur fille se voit tourmentée par des visions terrifiantes. Parallèlement, un étrange individu ne cesse de la suivre : Elliot Hoover. Ce dernier, dont la femme et la fille ont été brûlées vives dans un accident de voitures, est persuadé qu'lvy est la réincarnation de sa propre fille, Audrey Rose. Et si c'était vrai ? Que se passerait-il ?…
