Synopsis
Aloyisius T. McKeever (Victor Moore), un clochard de New York, fait sa résidence d'hiver d'une maison vide de la Cinquième Avenue dont le propriétaire, le multi-millionnaire Michael J. O'Connor ( Charles Ruggles ), a migré vers le sud. Par hasard, il rencontre Jim Bullock, un sans-abri vétéran de la Deuxième Guerre, et l'accueille dans la maison. Ils deviennent un trio quand la fille d'O'Connor s'amène, fuyant l'école et les deux hommes l'accueillent, pensant qu'il s'agit d'une pauvre fille fuyant son père abusif.
