Synopsis
Dans un port anglais au XVIIIème siècle, Jim Hawkins aide sa mère à l'auberge. Un ancien pirate vient un jour y prendre ses quartiers et abreuve le jeune garçon de ses aventures maritimes. L'homme meurt subitement ; Jim et sa mère ouvrent son coffre qui contient une mystérieuse carte au trésor. Grâce au docteur Livesey et au chevalier Trelawney, une expédition est montée pour partir à la recherche du trésor. Parmi les membres de l'équipage, le cuisinier Long John Silver, un vieux marin à jambe de bois, intrigue Jim Hawkins.
