Synopsis
Pendant la guerre de Corée, l'infirmière italienne Virna Lisi tombe amoureuse de deux aviateurs américains, Tony Curtis et George C. Scott. Lisi épouse Curtis après l'avoir convaincue que Scott a été tué dans un accident d'avion. Elle découvre bientôt que Scott est vivant, mais reste heureusement mariée à Curtis jusqu'à ce que Scott revienne dans leur vie 14 ans plus tard.
