Synopsis
Megan Turner, jeune policier, se voit suspendue de ses fonctions pour excès d'emotivité. En effet, confrontée à un hold-up à main armée lors de sa première ronde de nuit, elle abat l'agresseur sans remarquer qu'une main anonyme a subtilisé, quelques minutes après le drame, l'arme du malfaiteur. Cependant une rencontre fortuite avec un élegant agent de change permet à Megan de voir à nouveau la vie en rose. Quelques temps plus tard, une série de meurtres est commis à l'aide de balles de Magnum sur lesquelles l'assassin a gravé le nom de la jeune femme...
