Synopsis
Trois jours avant le passage à l'an 2000, le diable sort de sa tanière et débarque à New York. Il part à la recherche de Christine York, une jeune femme prédestinée depuis sa naissance à lui donner un enfant, qui sera l'instrument de la destruction de l'humanité. L'ancien policier Jericho Cane, reconverti dans la protection rapprochée, va trouver Christine sur son chemin et lui offrir son aide. Traqués par Satan mais aussi par un commando intégriste du Vatican, ils vont devoir empêcher que ne se produise la fin des temps.
