Trama
Lo sceriffo di Gunlock ha deciso di impiccare al tramonto Sam Hall, che ha sparato a tre allevatori. Ma al casino puntano tutti contro di lui. I compagni di Sam cercano di salvarlo dalla forca, mentre gli allevatori vogliono linciare l'omicida, mentre quest'ultimo ha in programma una fuga con l'amata Nellie. Ma lo sceriffo deve anche fare i conti con il sospetto mandante di Sam Hall: il suo futuro cognato.
