Trama
Transvaal, 1901, boeri e inglesi combattono gli uni per difendere la loro indipendenza, gli altri per soffocarla. Dell'esercito inglese fa parte un corpo speciale australiano, i Bushwell Carabiniers, nel quale si è arruolato Harry Morant, detto Morant per la sua abilità di domatore. Per vendicare un suo amico, il capitano Hunt, ucciso dai guerriglieri boeri, Harry fa fucilare senza processo alcuni prigionieri.
