Trama
Durante un viaggio in treno uno scrittore conosce una donna affascinante e se ne innamora. La segue e scopre che è una accanita giocatrice e che il proprietario del casinò la tiene legata a sé con il ricatto. L'uomo, per aiutarla, tenta la fortuna al tavolo verde: prima vince ma poi perde tutto arrivando all'orlo del suicidio.
