Trama
Padre e figlia, entrambi avvocati, si trovano avversari a San Francisco in una causa tra una multinazionale dell'auto e le vittime delle esplosioni di un modello difettoso. Lui (G. Hackman) è un “radical”, fedele agli ideali di gioventù; lei (M.E. Mastrantonio) è un'ambiziosa al servizio del capitale. Li dividono anche vecchi rancori familiari. Dramma giudiziario come tanti, ma collegato con sottigliezza a un conflitto generazionale e familiare.
