Trama
Quando l'auto della famiglia Kwimper esaurisce il carburante su una nuova autostrada della Florida e un diligente supervisore statale cerca di farli scappare, Pop Kwimper si tira indietro e decide di fondare una piccola fattoria. Lui e suo figlio Toby e i loro figli "adottivi" - Holly, Ariadne e i gemelli - danno vita alla loro piccola comunità lungo il ciglio della strada.
