Trama
Il sogno di Lotte è di diventare una cantante di varietà: così quando il padre, indebitato per perdite al gioco, parte per cercare soldi, Lotte gira l'America dando spettacoli con un carrozzone ambulante. A San Francisco, ritrova il padre che ha fatto fortuna, e Tom, un ufficiale confederato che aveva conosciuto durante i suoi viaggi. Fiori d'arancio.
