Trama
I parenti lo vorrebbero ingegnere, ma la sua passione è il baseball. Studia e si allena, porta alla vittoria la sua squadra in oltre duemila partite, sposa una sua fan. Vivace biografia di Lou Gehrig, per sedici anni asso degli Yankees che, al culmine della gloria sportiva, fu colpito da una micidiale forma di sclerosi e morì a 37 anni.
