Trama
Ricostruzione di un crimine d'odio a partire dalle testimonianze degli abitanti di Laramie, Wyoming, dove Matthew Shepard venne picchiato, incatenato e lasciato morire perché gay. L'assassinio di Matthew diventa parabola della brutalità contro il diverso, nel determinismo di una cittadina dai valori conservatori ed sessisti.
