Trama
Lance è un insegnante di poesia di scuola superiore deve fare i conti con la morte del figlio avvenuta in seguito a un terribile e grottesco incidente a sfondo sessuale che il padre ha finto essere un suicidio per evitare uno scandalo per il resto della famiglia. La notizia, pubblicata senza il suo permesso, fa si che Lance decida di ricominciare a scrivere lavorando a un diario segreto che farà pubblicare, fingendo che sia stato scritto dal figlio morto.
