Trama
Figlio di un cowboy, ma cresciuto a New York, Walter (Jerry Lewis), torna nella prateria dove, con l'amico Slim, un autentico e rude uomo della Frontiera, deve vedersela con pericolosi fuorilegge. Nominato sceriffo proprio per la sua incapacità, al momento buovo Walter, sempre spalleggiato da Slim, mostra doti insospettate e salva un ranch dall'assalto dei malviventi.
