Trama
Una speciale unità combattente viene formata negli Stati Uniti all'inizio dell'ultima guerra e inviata nel Pacifico. Ne fanno parte ufficiali del genio addestrati però come marines. Il loro capo è una testa calda: pensa più a combattere che a costruire; il suo campo viene attaccato da un'orda di giapponesi calata con il favore della nebbia. Il comandante sacrifica la vita per salvare la sua unità.
