Trama
Il destino di Luisa, nata povera, è di sposare uomini poveri che, diventati ricchissimi dopo il matrimonio, muoiono. Lei ha il complesso della vedova ricca. Commedia nera un po' pazza con spunti parodistici, non sempre felici, sui vari generi del cinema americano. La regia non è all'altezza della sceneggiatura di Betty Comden e Adolph Green.
