Trama
Buford Pusser, ex-combattente in Vietnam ed ex-lottatore, diventa sceriffo per ripulire la sua città dal marciume che vi si annida con la complicità dei potenti. Conosce numerose sconfitte, gli ammazzano pure la moglie ma, alla fine, i cittadini onesti sono tutti con lui.
