Trama
Quattro storie di fantasmi ispirate a leggende popolari nipponiche. Episodio 'The black hair': un samurai torna a casa dopo molti anni e scopre che la moglie è un fantasma. Episodio 'The woman of the snow': un viandante viene salvato da un tempesta di neve da una misteriosa donna. Episodio 'Hoichi, the earless': un musicista cieco si esibisce davanti ad una corte di spettri protetto da un mantra sacro tatuato sul corpo. Episodio 'In a cup of tea': uno scrittore ha difficoltà nel concludere una storia di un uomo che vede un misterioso volto riflesso nel tè.
