Trama
Tratto dall'omonimo romanzo giallo di Dashiell Hammett, il film è una brillante commedia sofisticata con spunti gialli, incentrata sulla vicenda di Nick e Nora Charles, una coppia di coniugi (ex investigatore lui, ricca ereditiera lei sempre accompagnati dalla cagnetta Asta) amanti della baldoria e dell'alcol, impegnati a investigare sulla scomparsa di uno scienziato e sugli omicidi che ne seguono.
